Kirusa, inventor of Voice SMS and a leading mobile value added services provider headquartered in New Jersey, USA, today announced expansion of its Bangalore operations to a new 10,000 sq. ft. facility in a prime location in Bangalore.
Kirusa’s flagship product Voice SMS has received excellent response worldwide with dozens of mobile operators adopting Kirusa Voice SMS as a value added offering for their subscribers. Kirusa recently announced a Series C financing of US $ 13.3 million from Helion Venture Capital, Nexus India Capital, Qualcomm Ventures Eastven Partners, the successor fund to Ericsson Venture Partners, and Erasmic Venture Fund to fuel Kirusa’s global expansion to help meet strong worldwide demand for its products, and to increase its R&D activities.
Kirusa has been operating a research and development centre from Bangalore since December 2003. The company has grown from strength to strength over the last four years with teams growing in New Jersey, Bangalore, and New Delhi.
