Kirusa CFO Honored by EWNJ at The ‘Salute to the Policy Makers’ 2008 Award

New Providence, New Jersey; Thursday, August 7, 2008: Baldeep Dua, Chief Financial Officer of Kirusa, has been honored by Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) at the ‘Salute to the Policy Makers’ 2008 Dinner recognizing her as one of the distinguished women leaders in New Jersey. EWNJ holds the biennial fund-raising event to recognize women of professional distinction in New Jersey.

“This year, EWNJ has paid tribute to Baldeep Dua as one of 36 ambitious and admirable women for their professional achievements as members of boards of directors or as senior executives at major corporations and organizations based in New Jersey. Over the course of the last two decades, ‘Salute to the Policy Makers’ Awards Dinner has evolved into a ‘Hall of Fame’ of sorts for accomplished women throughout the Garden State and we are pleased to honor Baldeep Dua this year,” noted EWNJ President-Elect and 2008 Salute Dinner Chair Mary S. Hartman, Ph.D., who also serves as director of the Institute for Women’s Leadership at Rutgers University.

Proceeds from the Salute to the Policy Makers 2008 Awards Dinner will fund EWNJ’s scholarship program, which has provided over $875,000 in scholarships to more than 275 deserving New Jersey women enrolled in advanced degree programs at New Jersey institutions since instituting the program in 1986. Distinguished honorary chairpersons for the 2008 Award Dinner’s included Governor Jon Corzine, The Honorable Richard J. Codey, The Honorable Donald T. DiFrancesco, The Honorable Christine Todd Whitman, The Honorable James J. Florio, The Honorable Thomas H. Kean Sr., and The Honorable Brendan T. Byrne.
