GSMA's Mobile 360 Series is a conference platform that cultivates regional engagement through topics that are impacting the mobile industry on both a localised and global scale. Mobile 360 Series – Latin America which took place from 4-6 June 2019 in Mexico brought together market leaders from Latin America across the mobile ecosystem to discuss key drivers for innovation centred around topics crucial to the region. The event examined the technologies of tomorrow (5G, AI, Blockchain), the impact they will have on the industry at a regional & global level as well as the government strategies that are driving digital transformation across Latin America. Inderpal Singh Mumick, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Kirusa had the honour of speaking at the event on the topic of 'Voice Roaming in the Data Era.' Shedding light on why roaming is a huge concern for telcos, Mr. Mumick disintegrated the anatomy of silent roamers further explaining how a voice-over-data solution can help address the problem and can be a suitable solution for both, telcos and subscribers.
